Celebrities, buyers, designers, and media hustle around New York in their casual Friday looks to catch the latest runways for autumn winter 2017. Day two runway trends continue with a new twists on ready-to-wear.
- New York Fashion Day 2 Color Trends Red
Red returns to the runway in various styles. Kate Spade adds a red tie choker under the turtle neck and on the end of the sleeves to go with the red trousers. Jason WU went with a monochromatic look with matching red on lips, shoes, and handbag. La Perla, primarily a lingerie line, is expanding to evening wear. They have a red jumpsuit with mule shoes. A perfect addition from office to boardroom. Pamella Roland presents a beautiful multi red toned evening gown. The holiday fashion, red carpets, and autumn will be filled with beautiful reds.
- NYFW FW17 Day 2 Fashion Trends
Plaids, prints, and floral, especially roses, continued on the runway. Nicole Miller presents her innovative graphics on sheer designs with a feel of grunge. Jeremy Scott continues with his tradition of message with a touch of art. His print brings a religious icon to the front of his message that religion may be our saving grace. His plaid present a modern touch with the play on sleeves and crop pant. La Perla plaid is styled with over the knee boot.
- Floral Prints with Roses as the Theme FW17 NYFW
Floral catwalk down the runway. Kate Spade brings roses, pansies, and poppies with her collection. A few of the pieces included a touch of leopard included on the shoes. This was a theme throughout her collection including a bomber jacket. Jason WU brought floral on classical fabrics. Tanya Taylor brought texture with the blouse underneath the floral jumper dress. A touch of femininity added with a lace trim in the collection.

The shoulder play continued down the catwalk. Cushnie ET Occhs' shoulders play a little play on peek-a-boo, just a hint of shoulder. Nicole Miller has a tantalizing shoulder exposing one shoulder and Juliet sleeve on the opposite side. The shoulder trend is continuing through 2017 fashion.

Grey suit is a fashion trend for 2017. Calvin Klein, Raf Simons' debut collection, presents well-tailored men and women's grey suit with a slouch pants. La Perla grey suit with embroidered floral on the jacket and skinny pants. V Files, Snow Xue Gao's, grey suit has a pop of green with the socks and lining. Cropped trousers complete the tailored suit on the runway.

Casual Friday with denim seen everywhere. Kate Spade styles denim with red and a cuff. Calvin Klein brings denim top to bottom with turtle necks underneath. Jeremy Scott's denim is slashed creating an edgy look on the fashion runway. Denim a must have in everyone's collection.
